New digital painting! I went with a more Impressionist/Expressionist style for this one and am so happy with it! I started with a simple pencil concept sketch, something I don't normally do, and just pulled it into Corel Painter to make the final render. Instead of a traditional mermaid, I decided to make her a jellymaid and I'm very glad I did! The jellyfish-based body was so much fun to paint and I'm certain I'll be doing more in future.
